Following a major fire which burnt down two thirds of the Old Main Block at Redhill Aerodrome, JGPS Surveying were commissioned to demolish the old site and to act as Contract Administrators, Designers and Quantity Surveyors of the new Phoenix Building.  The new building was designed and built to encompass aviation training schools, office accommodation and cafeteria.  The reconstruction was carried out by a local firm, Challis Builders Ltd.
